The HESI A2 Chemistry subtest is 30 questions in 25 minutes, of which 25 are scored. It spans 5 content areas.

Do I need to memorise the periodic table for the HESI A2?

Not the whole table. Focus on element symbols, charges and trends (atomic radius, electronegativity) for the elements common in the human body and in everyday compounds, since that is what matter and measurement and bonding questions draw on.
