A specimen

An original RedRubric item. Answer it, and the figure and the explanation respond at once.

Try one item, before anything else.

This is exactly how practice behaves throughout RedRubric: choose an answer, and the reasoning is on the page before you can second-guess it.

Science: Anatomy & PhysiologySpecimen item 001

Preface

Why we built a manual, not another app.

The TEAS decides who takes a seat in nursing school next term and who waits a year for the next one. It is a serious, four-section exam, and most students still prepare for it with a thin booklet and a borrowed PDF. RedRubric was built to do better than that.1

If the exam is rigorous, your preparation should be too, and it should not cost a week’s pay. Every question is written from scratch and mapped to ATI’s published content outline. Every answer is explained the moment you submit it. Every attempt is scored into a proficiency band, so you always know where you stand.2 No tricks, no filler. Just the exam, in full.

  1. ATI’s TEAS study packages run about $99 to $199; Mometrix rents access at roughly $80 a month. RedRubric’s largest edition is $129, paid once. Competitor prices checked July 2026.
  2. RedRubric is independent and unaffiliated with ATI. Our questions are original and are never reproduced from the live exam.

What’s inside

Everything the exam asks of you, and nothing it doesn’t.

What you get.

Fig. 3 The mock-exam runner: authentic section timing, a live progress rail across all four sections, and one-tap flagging, exactly as it behaves on exam day.
I

A large, original TEAS practice question bank

Every practice question is written from scratch and mapped to ATI’s content outline, never copied from the live exam, never padded with recycled trivia.

II

Full-length, timed mock exams

The complete 170-item, 209-minute format under a real clock, section by section, so exam day feels like a rehearsal you have already sat.

III

Instant explanations

The moment you answer, you see why the correct answer is correct, and why the tempting one is not. No waiting for a review screen.

IV

Proficiency-band tracking

Your Total Score % and band (Below Basic, Basic, Proficient, Advanced, Exemplary) tracked across every attempt and every section.

V

Mobile-first by design

The method

Three steps, repeated until the exam holds no surprises.

Three steps to exam day.

01Diagnose

Find the gaps

A short diagnostic locates the sections and bands where you are quietly losing marks.

02Drill

Rebuild them

Targeted question sets close each weak area, with every miss explained the instant you make it.

03Simulate

Rehearse the day

Full-length, timed mocks, repeated until the real thing feels like something you have already done.

Editions

Pick how long you need the manual, not which questions you’re allowed to see.

Choose your edition.

Every edition draws on the same original question bank. You are choosing how long you keep it, never paying more for the “real” questions. For comparison. ATI’s TEAS study packages run about $99 to $199; Mometrix rents at roughly $80 a month. RedRubric’s Lifetime edition is $129, paid once. Competitor prices checked July 2026.

The series

One account, every volume included.

Two volumes, one manual.

Queries

Answered plainly, without the fine-print games.

Questions, answered plainly.

Is RedRubric affiliated with ATI?

No. RedRubric is fully independent. Our questions are original and mapped to ATI’s published content outline, but they are never taken from the live exam, and we are not authorized or endorsed by ATI. TEAS® is a registered trademark of its respective owner.

How closely does this match the real TEAS 7?

Same four sections, the same 170-item and 209-minute full-length structure, and proficiency-band scoring modeled on ATI’s five bands, from Below Basic through Exemplary. Our aim is that nothing about exam day feels unfamiliar except the room.

What do I actually get for free?

Free sample questions in every TEAS section, with an instant explanation on every answer and no card, plus one study-guide lesson per subject. When you are ready for the full question bank and the timed mock exams, you move up to a paid edition.

How should I study for the TEAS test?

Start with a short diagnostic to find your weakest sections, drill them with targeted practice questions until every miss is explained, then sit full-length timed mock exams until exam day feels rehearsed. RedRubric is built around exactly that loop, across Reading, Mathematics, Science, and English.

Can I really pass with RedRubric alone?

RedRubric gives you the volume, the timing, and the instant feedback to walk in ready. Every question is mapped to ATI’s official content outline, so it covers exactly what the test covers. We won’t promise a number, no honest resource can, but you will have everything you need to earn the score you want.
