The TEAS 7 is mostly multiple choice, but not only. ATI mixes in four other formats: select-all-that-apply, typed answers with no options, sequences you put in order, and figures you click. Your free sitting includes them, because a rehearsal that skips a format is a rehearsal with a gap. These four are demonstration items written for this page; try each one before you sit down.

Is the practice test really free?
Yes. Create a free account and sit the full examination once, no card and no trial that converts. Your score report, section bands, and every written explanation are included.
How long is the ATI TEAS 7?
The full exam is 170 questions in 209 minutes, and 20 of those are unscored pretest items that never count. Your sitting delivers the 150 scored questions on the same section clocks, so the score you get is the score that matters.
Is it timed like the real exam?
Yes. Each section runs on its own clock at ATI's official limit and locks when time runs out, so you rehearse pacing under real pressure. If you have to step away, the sitting saves and resumes.
What do I get at the end?
A total score placed on ATI's five proficiency levels, a band for each of the four sections, and a full review of the paper with an explanation on every question.
Can I retake the free test?
The free sitting is one per student, and retaking the same questions would flatter your score anyway. Editions include unlimited practice tests, each freshly drawn from the full bank of 848 original questions.
Does it include the TEAS 7 question formats beyond multiple choice?
Yes. Alongside standard multiple choice, the paper includes ATI's alternate formats: select all that apply, supply answer where you type the response, ordered response sequences, and hot spot items where you click the correct area of a figure. Each is answered the way the real exam asks for it.
Should I practise first or sit the test cold?
Sitting it cold is the honest baseline, and most students start there. If you would rather warm up, the section practice pages carry free sample questions for all four sections.
