What the lesson concludes
- Fahrenheit to Celsius: subtract 32, then multiply by five ninths.
- Celsius to Fahrenheit: multiply by nine fifths, then add 32.
- Kelvin equals Celsius plus 273.15, and Kelvin has no negative numbers.
- Water freezes at 32 degrees Fahrenheit, 0 degrees Celsius, and 273.15 Kelvin, and boils at 212, 100, and 373.15.
- A HESI question that gives you one temperature and a scale is asking for a conversion, not a definition.
